Home Health Care Service

Home health care service from Comfort Care Hospice

Having a loved one battle a serious chronic or terminal illness can leave you feeling overwhelmed as you try to provide the care that they need. You want them to be in the comfort of their own home but you don’t have the skills to provide the necessary care that they would receive from medical professionals. As part of our mission to provide excellent hospice care services, Comfort Care Hospice provides home health care service options for the Dallas, Denton, and Collin counties in Texas.

What is Home Health Care like?

Home health care service provided by Comfort Care Hospice means additional care for your loved one in the comfort of their own home. A team of trained medical professionals will provide a variety of health and hospice care services to ensure that your loved one’s needs are being taken care of and they can enjoy the best quality of life. Our staff is expertly trained to treat each of our patients with the respect, care, and professionalism that you expect from a leading hospice care provider.

Depending on your loved one’s needs, our staff will create an individualized home health care service plan that caters to the specific treatment requirements involved with the illness or disease. Should new needs arise, the plan can be altered to accommodate those, as well. Medical supplies and other necessities are delivered to the home. We design our plans so that all pertinent health care services are handled in the comforts of home.

What Services are Provided by Home Health Care?

Comfort Care Hospice provides three levels of care with each home health care service plan. A home health aide will come to your loved one’s house every day to assist with typical everyday personal care tasks. Daily needs such as bathing, grooming, and changing linens are a few of the services provided by the home health aide.

Along with daily visits from the home health aide, a nurse will also make home visits a minimum of once a week to a maximum of once a day, depending on your loved one’s medical needs. A social care worker and chaplain will visit every two weeks to make sure all of your loved one’s needs are being met.
